Why do I love photographing bachelorette parties

It was through bachelorette parties that I discovered my love for portrait photography and event photography. I’ve photographed many groups of friends, and every time it gave me so much energy and joy! Being able to capture that moment—which sometimes never happens again—and to immortalize that joy and all that love between friends (I’ve only had a few mixed-gender groups so far)—it’s so beautiful to see!

I highly recommend organizing a photo shoot as an activity during your bachelorette weekend. I promise you it will create memories that last a lifetime. In addition to selfies and more intimate photos from the weekend, having beautiful photos taken by a professional makes wonderful souvenirs. You can choose a theme and bring props: personally, I’m not a fan of sex-shaped props or ridiculous sex-related items, but that’s a whole other conversation. On the other hand, a little veil, personalized T-shirts, a shared color, a dress code, little balloons, or even a unicorn costume (and that, by the way, was really, really funny!)—I’m totally on board with that!

I started to photograph bachelorette parties in le touquet-paris-plage

I’ve started photographing bachelorette party photoshoots in Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, which I absolutely love! Le Touquet is a very popular destination for bachelorette party weekends: it’s close to the North, Normandy, and Paris, offers a change of scenery with sandy beaches, dunes, and forests, and is a great place to enjoy all kinds of activities and/or relax with friends. I have my favorite route for photos, and if everything is well-organized and we don’t start too late in the day, we’re lucky enough to avoid crowds of tourists and only see a few locals. In fact, I don’t go to the main beach, but a little further out, and during this short walk, you’ll see the beach, the sea, the dunes, and the forest! Isn’t that amazing? Stunning photo backdrops guaranteed!

Bachelorette parties in Lille, my loving city

Lille—what a beautiful city for a photoshoot! In fact, it’s the city where I get the most requests for this kind of photoshoot. And I couldn’t be happier! I love helping you discover different parts of the city, showing you other little streets and charming little spots (and quiet ones, too—again, if we plan ahead). I can suggest different routes, depending on what you’re looking for: Old Lille, for its beautiful architecture, cobblestone streets, colorful little houses, and charming little squares. Looking for more greenery? You have your pick: the Citadel, along the river la Deule , or even a bit further out in Villeneuve d’Ascq at Parc du Héron for a wooded spot near the lake. I’m also open to any other suggestions, even further out in the Lille metropolitan area or the region.

and why not belgium ?

And yes, why not Belgium! It’s actually a very popular destination for bachelorette weekends: close to Lille and the Nord region, and not too far from Paris and Normandy either—perfect for a change of scenery and immersing yourself in a different culture… I moved to Ghent a year and a half ago, and I think this city is magnificent. It has all the distinctive features of Flemish cities, with a rich historical heritage and medieval architecture. There are some beautiful spots for taking great photos with friends, and I’m now confident I can offer you a really fun tour that’s a bit different from the tourist-packed city center. So if you’ve never visited this city before, but you’ve already been to Bruges and are looking for something similar yet larger where you can spend an entire weekend, come to Ghent! You’ll find plenty of other activities to do here, as well as a really cool nightlife scene if that’s your thing.
