We all need to love ourselves more
We tend to be too hard on ourselves all too often. The path to self-love can be complicated, but little by little, it’s possible to look at ourselves with kindness and love.
After taking numerous self-portraits, I realized the impact that the way I looked at myself could have on my self-esteem. Through my lens, my creativity, and my experience, I hope to help women who want to love themselves a little more.
Whether it’s after a difficult event, gaining or losing weight, a breakup, a divorce, stepping out of your comfort zone, or just treating yourself…
I am happy to accompany you during a photoshoot. Whether fully clothed or in lingerie, with a specific theme, outdoors or indoors, contact me so we can discuss it and develop this beautiful project together.
I primarily work with women, but I also photograph men.
A few years ago, I started taking photos of myself, and after each photoshoot, I felt a boost of self-confidence and a deep sense of pride. I was learning to judge myself less, to love myself a little more, and to appreciate the flaws I used to hate seeing. I told myself this was something very powerful that I needed to share with other women. Since then, I’ve been able to offer this experience to many women, always with the goal of helping them understand that it’s possible to see yourself in a different light. So no, it’s not a magic formula, but you’ll feel a sense of pride—and above all, I hope you’ll look at yourself with more kindness.
You might not like the photos: if you choose me for this experience, it’s because you still like my style, my way of photographing, of capturing the female body, of photographing the small details, and also my editing style (which is quite dark overall). But I’ll say it again: this isn’t a magic formula, and it’s hard to look at yourself in photos if you’re not used to it, if you have a lot of insecurities, if you’re very hard on yourself, and if you’re going through the experience with a lot of stress. For my part, I always do my best to ensure you have a pleasant experience—a moment just for you—with patience, kindness, no judgment, active listening, and above all, a safe space.
What always comes out of the experience is pride. And even if you still have a hard time looking at yourself afterward, even if you still criticize yourself and notice those little flaws (which, let’s face it, you’re often the only one who sees), even if you feel like you’re not making progress: you’ve taken a huge step, and you can be proud of yourself. It’s not easy to have your picture taken; it’s not easy to put yourself in a position in front of someone you don’t know. You might feel vulnerable and feel like I’m invading your privacy. But I can tell you this much: it’s an honor for me to be part of that intimacy, to have your trust, and to be able to capture your beauty and your strength. I’m convinced that having an outside perspective—a photographer’s eye, a more artistic vision—can show you another side of yourself: a strong, beautiful, and badass woman!
